Over Cage's four year career, he's quickly established himself as the locker room's biggest loud mouth everywhere he goes. He'll be the first to tell you of the high opinion of himself, and won't skimp on the detail. Cage proudly leads a straight edge lifestyle, and boasts this fact to others. In act, he demands that since he has sworn off drugs and alcohol, that he demands others follow suit, and cease any drinking or smoking that may be happening in his presence. He refuses to follow any authority figure, unless they bend to his will, often arguing with general managers or any other figure head when he wants a title shot, or a certain match. He is also openly anti-hardcore wrestling, often mocking hardcore wrestlers and hardcore wrestling as a whole. Kris Cage is, simply, an asshole.
Sample Roleplay
(I'm also Spanky....and once again, didn't feel like adding color)
As the broadcast returns from break, the ring side announcers; Joey Styles and Paul Heyman, welcome back the fans as they attempt to catch them up to speed as to what has transpired over the commercial break. We see Kris Cage; the man who made his return last week in the middle of the ring. He is in nothing more than a pair of blue jeans and an old EHWF shirt. Oddly enough, he is sitting on a stool, a mic in hand. But what is even more peculiar is the empty stool sitting next to him. The fans are excitingly cheering, not only to see Kris Cage after his return last week, but to hear what he has to say. its become public knowledge by now that Cage is scheduled to once again go one on one with the man that gave him his only loss during his last run in EHWF; Scorpion. Not only that, but he is to meet Scorpion in the match that ended his career, the ever terrifying Gateway to Hell Match. Something is obviously weighing heavily on Kris's mind. His happy demeanor is not present. He seems to want to get straight down to business as he prepares to speak. He raises his mic to his lips to finally speaks, but hesitates. Cage drops the mic back down, his bottom lip seems to be quivering. He exhales deeply, gathering his thoughts before raising the mic back up and finally speaking.
"The Epic" Kris Cage
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to EHWF Friday Night Mayhem. For now, I will be your host; "The Epic" Kris Cage. On August 31, EHWF will hold it's 5th Pay-Per-View; Mutilation, a name that I, myself, finds very appropriate. It promises it be a great Pay-Per-View, maybe even EHWF's greatest. Every belt is going to be on the line; Hardcore, Tag Team, Diva, United States, and even the vacant Mayhem title. You're gonna see Street Fights, Triple Threats, and even Hardcore's. But what I want to talk about Ladies and Gentlemen is the main event, for the EHWF Mayhem Championship. The main event will be a rematch of the most brutal, bloodiest, and life threatening match to happen in the short history of the Extreme Hardcore Wrestling Federation; The Gateway to Hell Match. And once again.... it will be me taking on Scorpion... for the Mayhem Championship. That's why I'm out here tonight ladies and gentlemen, I want to talk about this match. Such a special kind of match should only be talked about on a special kind of show. So special, that I couldn't just simply walk out to the ring and jabber on about it. No, I had to make this rememberable, which it is going to be. That's why I've decided to bring back one of the highest rated segments in Mayhem TV history. Ladies and Gentlemen this is the return..... of Classic TV.
Instantly the fans erupt into a cheer, Cage visibly cheering up slightly as a smile appears on his face.
"The Epic" Kris Cage
Just like on the last episode of Classic TV, this to will be a rememberable one, as will the ones proceeding this. In case your just now tuning in, we're going to be discussing the fabled Gateway to Hell Match. For those of you who don't know what the Gateway Match is, let me break it down for you. The ring ropes are replaced by barbed wire, and the ring is surrounded with fire. If that wasn't brutal enough, the entire ring is encased in an Elimination Chamber like cage. In the off chance that you make it past the fire surrounding the ring, your still not safe, because the floor will be covered in thumbtacks, broken glass, and I believe I felt cactus needles. And to top it all off, the entire cage is wired to a timed explosive. Apparently the higher ups of EHWF don't know the meaning off "over kill." It's EHWF's signature match. There's only been one in history, and that did also include myself and Scorpion for the Mayhem Title, which I'd like to take a quick look at. Now, I have to warn those in the arena and those watching at home, the footage you are about to see is EXTREMELY graphic, and violent, and I would suggest that parents ask their children to leave the room.
The feed switches to a clip of the match. We see the Gateway Match has already started, probably early in the match. cage is seen Irish whipping Scorpion towards the barbed wire ropes, but manages to stop himself only mere inches away from the razor wire. But his good luck doesn't last as Cage follows up with a front dropkick to Scorpion's back, pushing him chest first into the barbed wire.
The video now skips forward. its later in the match. Scorpion's chest has been sliced open, probably from the earlier push into the barbed wire. Cage and Scorpion are trading stiff shots to the face. As Scorpion starts to get the upper hand during the brawl, Cage is slowly pushed back until he puts his foot into the sering hot flames surrounding the ring. Instantly, his boot ignites, and the flames start to travel up his tights. Cage then desperately leaps out of the fire, rolling on the mat as he panics to try and put out the flames crawling up his leg.
Again the video skips ahead. This video clip is short, but still incredibly brutal. This time, all we see is Scorpion mercilessly pummeling Cage, who is on his knees, in the head with a barbed wire wrapped steel chair, Cage visibly split ear to ear as blood splatters onto the chair with every blow.
The video now skips forward to the later part of the match. Both Scorpion and Cage are outside of the ring, their backs and arms covered in a mix of sharp objects. They are again trading blows. Without warning, Cage manages to maneuver out of the way of Scorpions fist, where he sets him up for his "Simply Classic" finisher; a leg hooked reverse STO. Cage falls back, slamming both his back and Scorpion's face into the deadly mix of thumbtacks and glass.
The video now forwards to the end of the match, a moment that will remain infamous in the history of EHWF. Both competitors have worked their way to the top of the deadly cage. Cage's face literally a crimson mask, while Scorpion is tattered in cuts and scars. Visibly drained, Cage goes for a short armed lariat. scorpion ducks under Cage's arm and manages to get behind him. there, he scoops Cage up into his reverse Tombstone; The Scorpion Drop. He drops to his knees, smashing Cage's head into the top of the cage. But before Scorpion could release Kris, the top of the cell gives way and breaks, sending both competitors into a free fall until the harsh, unforgiving mat breaks their fall, where both competitors lay motionless, the crowd letting out a collective gasp as they raise to their feet.
With the video clip over, the camera feed now returns to the set of Classic TV, cage still staring at the blackened Titantron screen. This obviously bothers him, as even he has a sort of shocked expression on his face. Finally, he raises the mic back up.

Now... before we discuss this anymore... I'd like to bring out my guest tonight. My guest is the only person who I could discuss the Gateway to Hell Match with, the man who nearly ended my life. Tonight, my guest is none other than... Scorpion.
Not long after announcing his guest, sure enough, "Bodies" by Drowning Pool begins playing over the P.A. System. Out walks Scorpion as the fans greet him as they usually do. Scorpion obviously hasn't been in the arena long as he is still in his street clothes. He makes his way down to the ring, an odd look on his face as he isn't sure what Cage is planning. He enters the ring and cautiously takes a seat as his music fades out.

You can relax Scorpion. I'm not going to try and attack you, or try and get an advantage going into this Sunday. I just wanna.... talk. Now, I trust you was the video we just played. I showed those slips for a purpose. For the very simple fact.... I don't remember. I don't remember the match. I don't remember the time during the match. I don't remember being told I was going to be in the match. I don't remember several hours after the match. What I do remember though.... is the fear you put my family through. I remember coming home, all stitched up, concust, and having my fiance run up to me, crying her eyes out, scared that I had died. Now I know that those were different times, and I was a different person. I understand that when it's all on the line, you have to do what you have to, to pull out the win. I respect you as a competitor and I consider you a friend. But when I think about the after math of Gateway 1, and the mental trauma both me and my family went through.... I can't help.... but feel utter hate for you. I can't help but think "That son of a bitch nearly killed me. That stupid bastard TRIED to kill me!!" Now whether my anger is misplaced or not, it's not going to go away! When I first heard that I was going to be stepping back inside that fucking cage with you, for one more go around, I almost said "no." But then I thought about what you did to me.... what you did to my family.... and all of a sudden.... something clicked. And now I can't wait for this Sunday. In fact.....
Suddenly Cage stands up, his stool flipping back as he kicks the stool out from under Scorpion. But being on his guard anyways, Scorpion manages to stay on his feet, now face to face with Kris Cage.

If it were up to me, we'd do this right now!! But things don't work like that. And although we could probably beat each other to death right now, I don't want it to happen like that.... no, it wouldn't matter if I beat you 100 more times in this ring, it wouldn't be enough. The only way I could feel justified if it was in Gateway to Hell. I NEED TO BE IN A GATEWAY TO HELL WITH YOU!!! I need Gateway 2, because I can't move on with my life or my career until this match happens! I don't care about the title! I don't care if the match is even fucking sanctioned. Whether the world likes it or not, we're going to battle to the bitter end... but things are going to be different this time. During the 6 long, long months I was out of the wrestling ring, and watched you carry the Mayhem Title, I wasn't just sitting at home.... I was training. I was training to face you. Because even if it was for one night, I knew I was going to come back to professional wrestling. And for that entire 6 months, I trained for the soul purpose of trying to figure out a way to beat your Scorpion Drop, to reverse it, to maneuver out of it. And in 6 months of training, you know what I discovered? That I can't beat it. I CAN'T BEAT THE SCORPION DROP!!!!! Once you've got me in position, I'm putty in your hands. But, my 6 months weren't a complete waist. Where I failed to discover a move to beat your Scorpion drop..... I discovered a move to beat you. And I have no problem in telling you this.... because I know you won't beat it. I plan on using it in this ONE match against you.... and I've ever so appropriately named it..... The Scorpion Killer... and that's exactly whats it going to do. Because, you see, even though you beat me last time, you made one mistake. Even though, you beat me to an inch of my life, you made one fatal error: you didn't finish the job! You beat me Scorpion, but you left me standing! And I have no doubt that we will once again go to that level of brutality and beyond this go around. And once again, we will take each other to the very limit that these mortal bodies will take us. But if you manage to once again beat me to an inch of my life..... this time, you'd better go that whole....damn....inch.... Because if I get the opportunity..... I know, I will......
Cage now drops his mic, a hush has fallen over the crowd. Cage now exits the ring, and walks up the ramp and to the back, not even glancing back once, leaving Scorpion near speechless in the ring.
